# Bosses

**Bosses** are powerful and mysterious creatures that inhabit the wild lands beyond the island. By defeating a boss, you can obtain rare or even legendary spell recipes. Each victory over a boss increases its Rage Level

## **What does a boss's Rage Level affect?**

A boss's Rage Level affects its damage: the higher the level, the greater the damage it deals. This parameter is also used when calculating the damage dealt by a Folk's attack
